Operations manager for our expansion into Amsterdam!
We specialize to be the best partner in services and housekeeping for the new modern and digital driven hospitality operators. Our journey is on a rocket and you will be the manager on the ground to kick the whole thing off. Now we are looking for an operations manager to take care of a small, but growing portfolio of hotel locations serviced by Unicorn in Amsterdam.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. You will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members and to nurture future growth. Going forward you will own the whole operation and also be head of our amazing housekeeping- and service team in Amsterdam. Your day will consist of both operational, planning and strategic work.

You will be doing
Build and lead our service- and housekeeping operations team
Meet challenges with enthusiasm and have a structured approach
Perform room checks to maintain and drive our quality standards
Responsible that we deliver spotless clean rooms and top guest experience in all operated hotels
Manage operations and make sure we don't only do a housekeeping job for our hotels, but really establish a business partnership for the future!
Together with our hotel partner and your team drive guest satisfaction
Recruit and train new hires on business practices
Ensure that quality of work and service is maintained at "Unicorn world class" level
You need to be available, flexible and transparent to support and help your team when needed
Proactive nurture and introduce new business opportunities for future growth

No 8-16 mentality..
Hands on mentality and have eye for details
Preferably experience from rooms division, housekeeping
Strong communications skills and comfortable with different digital platforms
Demonstrated ability to lead and to motivate your team to best "world class"
Management and customer service experience
Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting
Actively manage cost levels and control in operations to deliver bottom line results
Great English language skills are required, both verbal and written.
